Hello! 👋 Welcome to EmPress! We thought we’d take a minute to introduce ourselves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
EmPress is run by @victoriamstudio and @elembee_. We've worked together since 2012, designing and building custom WordPress websites for style and lifestyle bloggers. And, we're both bloggers ourselves—Victoria has written her blog since the summer of 2008, and Lisa has written hers since the fall of 2010. We're old school!

Victoria lives in San Francisco, where she runs her studio, blog and EmPress, and has also been known to venture up north to Napa a time or two 🍷. In past career lives, she's worked in food media, the wine business, PR, and academia (at a dental school!). Other fun facts: she's a Korean adoptee, is also into photography and writing (allll the creative pursuits), and has a French bulldog who is a bit of a diva (see her adventures @misslucyjay).

Lisa lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but will always have a special place in her heart for her native Texas queso and margaritas. When she’s not working on her studio and EmPress, she’s dying her hair various shades of purple, blue, and pink, or testing out a new beauty product or technique (check out her beauty account @pretty.on.time!). She has a Westie/Jack Russell mix who reluctantly stars on her Instagram, and a camera-shy corgi who occasionally makes a surprise appearance.
