If you ever see us mention a content interstitial as it pertains to an <em>press product, it simply refers to a block of content that usually breaks up a blog post feed. Here’s an example of an interstitial:
Interstitials can appear after a set number of blog posts within a Home Page feed, or even as a feature underneath slider or featured posts. Here’s an example of the Shopping interstitial, activated in our miramar theme:
We know sometimes customers aren’t familiar with this term, so in most of our products, we instead refer to interstitials as “content blocks.” But, we’re so used to using this term in-house and with custom clients, that sometimes we’ll still talk about these content blocks in this way. They are one in the same!
